Itinerary

1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi IGI airport and meet and assist by our representative. Transfer to hotel for overnight. After a relax breakfast leave for hald day Delhi city tour covering Humayun tomb, Birla temple, Lotus temple, Qutab Minar and drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight at hotel.

2: Delhi – Agra

Drive from Delhi to Agra (203 Kms / 4.5 hours). Visit Sikandra . On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the impressive Agra Fort, the local bazaar and of course, the most perfect architectural monument in the world – The Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world, this beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble, took 22 years and 22,000 craftsmen to build it. This monument was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

3: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Samode – Jaipur

Morning drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri ( 235 Kms / 5 hours ) the deserted, sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Continue the drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in to your hotel.

4: Jaipur

Morning visit Amber Fort, is one that cannot be easily described. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Afternoon visit the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh’s observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Evening visit Chokhi Dhani for Rajasthani Theme evening including VEGETARIAN SIT DOWN (ON THE FLOOR) DINNER. Overnight at hotel.

5: Jaipur – Pushkar

Morning after breakfast drive to Pushkar ( 135 K.ms/ 3 hrs). Enroute visit Ajmer the famous muslim pilgrimage centre -thew Dargha sheriff tomb of od a Sifi saint which is equally revered by the Hindus and Muslims. On arrival check in to hotel / swiss tent. Afternoon visit the fair. Overnight.

6: Pushkar

Pushkar – located about 11km away and separated from Ajmer by ‘Nag Pahar’ ( Snake Mountain ) is the abode of Lord Brahma, the Creator. The Lake at Pushkar, situated on the edge of the desert and surrounded by hills on three sides, is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma himself and has the same sanctity for Hindus as the Mansarover Lake in Tibet . Legend has it that this is the first place on Earth that was created by Lord Brahma. The town clings to the side of the Lake with its many temples and bathing ghats. For Hindus, no pilgrimage to complete without a visit to Pushkar. During the month of Kartik (October/November), devotees throng in large numbers here to take a dip in the sacred lake. Full day spend and enjoy the Camel fair. Overnight.

7: Pushkar

Day free to explore the fare on your own. Overnight at hotel.

8: Pushkar – Kota – Bundi

Morning drive to Bundi. Enroute visiting Kota. You can experience the image of real Rajathan in Kota and Bundi region. Bundi is surrounded by the Aravalli hills on the three sides and is circumscribed by a massive wall with four gateways. The medieval forts, palaces, havelis temples with beautiful stone idols and chattris with carved pillars, along with a picturesque lake in the heart of the town and is famous for its intricate carvings and murals. Evening watch the exhibition of Bats in sunset. Overnight at hotel.

9: Bundi – Chittorgarh – Udaipur

Morning after breakfast leave for Udaipur. Enroute visit Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh – this sprawling hilltop fort epitomizes the whole romantic, doomed ideal of Rajput chivalry. The fort stands on a 280 hectare site on top of a 180m high hill, which rises abruptly from the surrounding plains. Three times in its long history, Chittor was sacked by a stronger enemy and on each occasion the end came in true Rajput fashion as jauhar was declared in the face of certain defeat. Continue the drive to Udaipur to reach by afternoon. Overnight at hotel.

10: Udaipur

Morning a half-day tour of Udaipur City covering City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir etc. Evening enjoy a boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.

11: Udaipur – Ranakpur – Jodhpur

Proceed in the morning after a leisurely breakfast and reach Jodhpur (280 K.ms / 6 hrs), Enroute visit the Jain temple of Ranakpur built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of Aravalies. Its surroundings are quiet and charming. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of the light and shade is really entrancing. Surya temple and other Jain temples are side attractions. Continue the drive to reach Jodhpur by evening. Rest of the ay at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

12: Jodhpur

Jodhpur is the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Price Jodha. Trip to Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an magnificent marble stone monument, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens.

Afternoon go for a village safari in the jeep and have a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside. Overnight at hotel.

13: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

Proceed for Jaisalmer after breakfast (280 K.ms/ 6 hrs) to reach by afternoon. Jaisalmer is the heart of Thar, the burnished sandstone, is an intricately moulded wonderland in place of a barren land, to day stands a city of gilded magic. The origins of Jaisalmer go back to the 12th century, when Rawal Jaisal abandoned his old fort at Ludarwa and laid the foundation of a new city.

14: Jaisalmer

After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City – Jaisalmer covering the splendid fort the Patwon Ki Haveli (Mansion) and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and brackets which are supreme examples of the art. Overnight at hotel.

Aftrnoon Camel Ride/Jeep Sarafi. Evening watch the sunset view in Desert and enjoy Rajasthani evening programme in Sand dune. Dinner and overnight in SAM/ Khuri desert village.

15: Jaisalmer To Bikaner

Have your breakfast in camp and then drive to Bikaner ( 330 K.ms/ 7 hrs) to reach by afternoon. Earlier Bikaner was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner’s dominant features are rippling sands and plentiful sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing Old Palaces, Temples & Mosque. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, The museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain. Overnight at hotel. and Deshnoke Rat temple. Overnight at hotel.

16: Bikaner – Mandawa

Morning breakfast at hotel. Visit Deshnoke Rat Temple and leave for Mandawa. ( 200 K.ms/ 4.5 hrs). Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Mandawa.

17: Mandawa – Delhi

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Visit the Madawa palace famous for its interior fresco painting. After lunch leave for Delhi (250 K.ms/ 5 hrs) to reach by evening. On arrival check in to Delhi hotel for overnight.

18: Delhi Departure

Today morning enjoy a relaxed breakfast in hotel and have the day for shopping and or free at leisure. Evening transfer to airport to borad the flight for onward journey.
