Itinerary

1: v

Arrive at Delhi International Airport. Meet our executive & transfer to hotel. Rest of the dat at leisure (depending on your arrival flight timing). Overnight stay.

2: Delhi city tour

Morning have your breakfast and leave Delhi city tour. Morning city tour of Old Delhi covering Raj ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire, Chandini Chowk the most happening and busiest shopping place in Delhi. Afternoon tour of New Delhi covering Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave. Evening free at leisure or watch the light and sound show in Red fort. Overnight at hotel.

3: Delhi – Agra by road

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Agra, Enroute visit Sikandra (the Tomb of Mughal empire Akbar the Great) just before reach Agra. On arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon visit the Agra fort, World famous Taj Mahal in sun set. Overnight stay at hotel.

4: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur by road

Early in the morning, 2nd visit the Taj Mahal during sun rise. After the visit of Taj Mahal drive back to hotel for breakfast.

After fresh and change, take a relaxed breakfast and drive to Jaipur (235 K. ms/ 5 hrs) with a stopover to discover the deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri, an epic poem in red sandstone. It was built by the great Mughal Emperor, Akbar, as his capital and palace in the late 16th century and was larger than London of the time. It was abandoned 14 years after it was built, when the local wells went dry, and it remains today in much the same condition that it was in over 300 years ago. It is complete with palaces and mosques and is an extraordinary place to wander, with its buildings in near perfect condition.

Evening excursion to Chokhi dhani – the ethnic Rajasthani luxury village resorts to enjoy the cultural evening to witness the Rajasthani village life style and food with Camel ride, bullock cart ride etc. followed by exclusive Rajasthani dinner on SIT DOWN ON FLOOR style. Return back to hotel for overnight.

5: Jaipur city tour

Jaipur the Pink City, was built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. After breakfast, visit the Amer Fort in the Aravalli Hills, which is a supper example of Rajput ( medieval Hindu style architecture. Take a slow Elephant ride takes you to the fort which has several graceful buildings.

Morning excursion to the Amber Fort to follow an old tradition and ride up to the Fort on an Elephant back.

It is built high atop a hillside overlooking Maota Lake. The fort palace was the early seat of the Amber kings before they made the fort their capital. It was a frequent stopping point of Mughal emperor Akbar on his annual pilgrimage to Ajmer, India’s most holy shrine. Your guide will escort you through the gardens, halls of public and private audience, and labyrinth of hallways and passages leading to the royal apartments buried deep within the fort. Built in red sandstone and white marble, the fort is a wonderful example of blended Hindu and Mughal architecture.

Later visit the other important monuments of Jaipur covering City Palace where many a royal treasure is preserved, including the world’s largest silver vessels. Then, experience the unique Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and witness the wonder of a I7th Century observatory with its 28 meters high sundial. Overnight stay in hotel.

6: Jaipur – Pushkar by road

After breakfast, drive to the holy city of Pushkar (135 kms / 3 hrs). On arrival, check into the hotel. After fresh and change, visit the Temples around the Pushkar Lake.

7: Pushkar – Udaipur by road

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Udaipur (300 kms / 6 hrs). On arrival, check into the hotel. Later in the evening, visit the Light & Sound Show at A Legacy of Honour to your itinerary in the historic city through 15 centuries.

8: Udaipur city tour

Udaipur was built along 3 lakes surrounded by green lakes, the city of Udaipur is known as the Venice of the East. The palaces, gardens, temples & painted houses match the beauty of the setting. This day visit the towering City Palace, & and the Saheliyon Ki Bari which means Garden of the maidens, superb Jagdish Temple noted for its Elephant – motif carvings. In the afternoon take a boat ride at Lake Pichhola. Overnight stay at hotel.

9: Udaipur – Ranakpur – Jodhpur

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (280 kms/ 6 hrs) known as Blue City for the characteristic plea indigo color of its traditional homes.

Enroute make a stopover at Ranakapur (90 kms from Udaipur) to visit the wonderful Jain temple at Ranakpur. The Chau Mukha temple at Ranakpur beautifully carved marble with 1444 pillars is a photographers delight and no two pillars are alike each other.

On arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

10: Jodhpur city tour

In the morning after breakfast, go for a Jeep Safari to Bisnoi Village. The Bishnoi’s are a community of Rajasthan who are famous for there rich cultural Rajasthani Life and there true love for nature and animals. Bishnoi Village Safari is the organization started by a group of local people to help tourists take a glimpse of rich cultural life of Bishnoi Villages and True Rajasthan.

Afternoon visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort -founded in 15th century, situated on a steep hill, Mehrangarh fort is one of the largest forts in India. The fort is situated about 400-ft above the city and has 68-ft wide and 117-ft high walls, which dominates the surrounding plain. Later visit Jaswant Thada located half way up the interminably long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. Overnight stay at hotel.

11: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

Morning after breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer (280 kms/ 6 hrs), a fascinating city rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage. On arrival at Jaisalmer, check in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure and overnight stay.

12: Jaisalmer city tour and Camel Safari

After Jaisalmer city tour covering Nathmalji – ki – Haveli and Patwaon ki Haveli, three beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th Centuries; and five interconnected palaces. The fort is approached through four gateways – Akhaiya Pol, Ganesh Pol, Suraj Pol & Hawa Pol.

Patwaon ki HaveliLater after lunch drive to Sam/ Khuri Desert village a small picturesque desert village of decorated mud thatched building and shifting Sand dunes. Check in to mud cottage or Swiss tent accommodation. Later take a Camel safari to the sun set point. Return back to tent to enjoy the evening cultural show including Rajasthani dance, puppet show and followed by dinner. Overnight stay in Tent in sand dunes.

13: Jaisalmer – Bikaner

Have your breakfast in tent and leave for Bikaner (330 kms/ 7 hrs). Upon arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

14: Bikaner – Mandawa

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Junagarh Fort and the camel Breeding firm & drive to Mandawa (220 kms/ 5 hrs) in the Shekhawati region. On arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

15: Mandawa – Delhi

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Old Palaces and the Forts in the Shekhawati famous for its fresco paintings. In the post lunch, drive back to Delhi (250 kms / 6 hrs). On arrival, check into the hotel.

16: Delhi – Your Own Destination

Take a relaxed breakfast in the morning at the hotel. After fresh & change, proceed for a short visit newly build Akshardham temple to witness the great modern architecture of Indian Temple culture. Later transfer to airport for departure to your onward destination.
