Itinerary

1: Delhi

Arrival in New Delhi Traditional welcome at Apt and transfer to hotel for overnight.

2: Delhi

Morning after an leisurely breakfast leave for sight seeing of Old Delhi and New Delhi visiting Red fort, Jama Masjid, Raj ghat, India Gate, Qutab Minar & Humayun’s tomb, driving past President House, Parliament House, Lotus Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

3: Delhi – Guwahati – Manas (210 kms, 5 hrs)

Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati, on arrival at Guwahat airport meet and assist by our representative and drive to Manas National Park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at resort.

Manas is situated on the foothills of the Himalaya, in the north bank of the Brahmaputra river, in Assam and on the international border with Bhutan. Manas is the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat in India, comparable to the best in the world in the beauty of its spectacular landscape. It is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage (in danger) site of a Project Tiger Reserve, an Elephant Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve – a unique distinction. This Brahmaputra Valley semi-evergreen forest Terrestrial Eco-region is also the richest in species of all Indian wildlife areas and the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog.

4: Manas Tiger Reserve

Full day you take the jubgle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at resort.

5: Manas – Guwahati (210 kms, 5 hrs)

Morning safari to the national park. In the afternoon drive to Guwahati, on arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

6: Guwahati – Nameri (240 kms, 5.5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Nameri national Park. On arrival check in at the Lodge /resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at lodge /resort.

Nameri National Park is one of the most scenic of all the national parks of India with river Jia Bhoroli bifurcating the park, in the eastern border of Assam in the valley and mountainous Arunachal Pradesh, Nameri is home to some of of the endangered species like white winged wood duck, Sloth Bear, Tiger Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian Wild Dog, four varieties of Hornbill and many other winged species. The other reason Nameri is famous for, is the herds of elephants. The park have a high density of elephant population and due to lessening of forest cover, they sometimes invade human inhabited villages, which have attracted the attention of wildlife conservationists worldwide.

Take 2 jungle safari today to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at resort.

7: Nameri – Kaziranga National Park (140 km, 3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park. On arrival check in at the resort in the afternoon jeep/elephant safari to the national to spot the one horn rhino and tiger. Overnight at wildlife resort.

8: Kaziranga National Park

Enjoy the game view by Elephant safari to the national park for wildlife. You can witness wild life like harbor swamp deer, Elephant, buffalo and the largest concentration of Indian Rhino. Overnight at the wildlife resort.

9: Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati – Kolkata (239 km, 6 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Guwahati, on arrival transfer to the airport time to board the flight for Kolkata. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight.

10: Kolkata – Sunderbans National Park ( 140 km, 2.5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive for Sundarbans National park to the jetty at Sonakhali. This drive takes through the lush-green rural Bengal landscape, dotted with its picturesque villages and quaint markets. Cruise down through rivers Hogol, reach at Sundarbans Jungle Camp on the Island of Bali. After lunch take down to Sajnekhali, to see the Mangrove Interpretation Center and return via the Sudhyanakhali watch tower. Overnight in Jungle camp.

11: Sunderbans National Park

Fullday cruise towards the canopied walk at Dobanki and proceed furthest point-Netidhopani, where you can see age-old excavations and view game from the watch tower. Overnight.

12: Sunderbans National Park – Kolkata

Morning have your breakgast in Jungle camp and have a tour of the island village of Bali, where you can watch local residents conducting their everyday chores-fishing, weaving and boat-making. A short cruise in country boats along the narrow canals completes the Sunderbans experience. After lunch drive back to Kolkata to board the flight / Train for onward journey.
